Simone Faraci

Simone Faraci is a musician based in Bologna. He has composed music for dance, theatre, and sound installations,
performing in both institutional and underground contexts in Italy and abroad. As an improviser, he has played with Francesco Giomi, Alvin Curran, and Giancarlo Schiaffini, and he is a regular collaborator with TREE (Tempo Reale
Electroacoustic Ensemble), with whom he has performed numerous concerts and released several recordings. In 2017, he founded Minus Collettivo in Bologna, an electroacoustic improvisation group that has performed at major
international festivals and released several albums. He has produced solo and collaborative recording projects, releasing music through labels such as Elli Records, Slowth Records, and others. Since 2022, he has taught electroacoustic music composition at the conservatories of Bologna and Cuneo. His main research areas are improvisation and experimental electronic music.
