He studied Piano, Experimental Composition, and Electronic Music under the guidance of Gemma D’Alessio, Giovanni Piazza, and Giorgio Nottoli, developing a solid foundation in both classical and contemporary music languages. Alongside his musical education, he also pursued studies in Oriental Languages at La Sapienza University in Rome, an experience that further enriched his artistic sensibility and broadened his cultural perspective.
Since 2007, he has been active as a composer and sound designer, creating original works for renowned theater companies, as well as for film and television productions. His work extends into the realms of contemporary art and multimedia, where he collaborates on soundscapes and compositions for installations and cross-disciplinary projects. His artistic practice is characterized by a strong focus on timbre, spatialization, and the integration of acoustic and digital elements.
In 2016, he was appointed Cultore della Materia in Electronic Music at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, contributing to the academic development of students in the field of sound technologies.
Since 2017, he has devoted himself entirely to composition and teaching, combining his creative output with a deep commitment to research and exploration. Specializing in Computer Music and New Media Art, he currently full professor in Audiovisual Composition/ Electroacoustic Composition at the G.B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna (IT).
His work explores the poetic and structural potential of sound in relation to image and space, with particular attention to real-time interaction, algorithmic processes, and the expressive possibilities of technology within contemporary composition.
