Maximos Kaliakatsos-Papakostas is teaching Interactive Sound Systems at the Department of Audio Visual Arts of the Ionian University. He is also a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Music Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), having obtained a personal research grant from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation and a Research Associate at the Institute for Language and Speech Processing of Athena Research and Innovation Center (ILSP/ATHENA RIC). He has obtained teaching experience at the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras, at the Department of Music Studies of AUTH and at the Department of Audio Visual Arts of the Ionian University. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher on the Concept Invent Theory (COINVENT) project (2013-2016) at the Department of Music studies of the AUTH. He holds a PhD from the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras since 2014 where he graduated in 2006 and received his M. Sc. Diploma in Computational Intelligence since 2009. He has also entrepreneurial experience as a startup founder and collaborator in international startups.
